Pangungunahan ng Red Cross Laguna Chapter (RCLC) ang selebrasyon sa national Blood Donor’s Month na may temang “More Blood, More Life”. Magsasagawa ng pagkilala ang RCLC sa mga blood donors at coordinators sa July 28 sa Cultural Center of Laguna sa Sta. Cruz. Ito ay alinsunod sa Implementing Rules and Regulations ng National Blood Service Act of 1994 upang hikayatin ang mga mamamayan sa pagbibigay ng dugo. Ito ay importante sa pagiimbak ng mga suplay ng dugo para as mga nangangailangan nito. |

Nanguna ang Department of Health kasama ang Department of Education, Philippine National Red Cross, Philippine Blodd Coordinating Council, LGUs, local Blood Councils, Blood Galloners Club, Philippine Association of National Advertisers, Philippine Obstetrical and Gynecological Society Foundation, Voluntary Blood Donors Association, iba’t ibang ospital at mga stakeholders sa pagdiriwang nito sa buong bansa.---Matt Palentinos
PRO CALABARZON Top Blood Provider;Acting Chief, RPIO Galooner Awardee
CAMP VICENTE LIM LAGUNA-----Police Regional Office (PRO) CALABARZON was awarded as Top Blood Provider for its achievement as an active participant in voluntary blood donation and for supporting the Philippine National Red Cross, Laguna Chapter with fifty (50) units of blood equivalent to 225, 450 cc of Blood for the year 2010. The Deputy Chief of the Regional Police Community Division, PSUPT JUNE P URRIQUIA received the award.
On the other hand, Galooner Award was also given to PCI ANDRES O SIMBAJON JR, Acting Chief of the Regional Public Information Office for donating more than one(1) galoon of blood in year 2010, his 2ndaward received following his first commendation received in 2007.
Said Awarding Ceremony was held as part of the culminating activity of Blood Donors Month celebration of Philippine National Red Cross Laguna Chapter on July 28, 2011 in Cultural Center of Laguna with Dra Ma. Grace Alzate-Uyap as Guest Speaker. Present also during said activity were the Hon Gov. Jeorge “E.R.” Ejercito Estregan who gave his Inspirational Message and one of the presenters of the award and 3rdDistrict Board Member Hon Angelica Jones who rendered an Intermission Number.
