Community surveillance equipment installation underway

ALAMINOS, Laguna -- The Sangguniang Barangay of Santa Rosa is presently installing security cameras, DVRs and remote viewing facilities to enhance their surveillance system in keeping the community safe.
This was reported by Sr. Inspector Mederic M. Villarete, Alaminos, chief of police, to PSupt. Gilbert DC. Cruz, Laguna provincial police director, during the recent inauguration of the renovated headquarters of the Municipal Police Station here and the conduct of “Padyak Laban sa Krimen at Droga Part II.”
Punong Barangay Ernesto A. Sahagun said they are installing “eyes in the sky” so that “we can facilitate a remote viewing neighborhood watch on all actions and activities that the residents, and transients are doing” since the barangay tanod cannot be on the road all the time or most of the time.
