BARANGAY TANOD NABBED IN PAGSANJAN

PAGSANJAN, LAGUNA-----THE Barangay Tanod of Barangay Pinagsanjan, Pagsanjan, Laguna, arrested by Pagsanjan Laguna Municipal Police, after punched the widower, while drinking spree in the said place.
Police Sr. Inspector Henry Villagonzalo Jr., Chief Of Police, Pagsanjan Laguna Municipal Police Station, said the incident transpired at around 5:00 o’clock in the afternoon.
Sr. Inspector Villagonzalo Jr., identified the victim as; Celestino De Leon Jr. y Marquez, 69, and the suspect identified as; Josephine Ortiz y Artoralde, legal age, married, Barangay Tanod, both residing in the above mentioned place.
P01 Americo S. Ferrejas Jr., Officer On Case, said their investigation disclosed that the victim and the suspect, were having dringking spree at the said place.
After a while victim decided to left and went home, suspect without any reason punched the victim hitting him on his face, witnessed by Jonna Flores y Mora, 36, married and resident of Brgy.Pinagsanjan, Pagsanjan, Laguna, as a result of impact victim fell to the ground and thereby caused injury and brought to the nearest hospital for treatment.
The witness called the police assistance, that immediately response and nabbed the suspect, while under the influence of liquior.
