ONE DEAD, ONE ESCAPED IN ENCOUNTER AT BINAN CITY LAGUNA

BINAN CITY, LAGUNA-----ONE Dead, one escaped in an encountered with Armed Robbery suspects and the police operatives at Garcia Subdivision, in Barangay San Antonio, Binan City, Laguna yesterday police said.  Police Supt. Leonard Luna, Binan City Police Chief said the incident happened at around 2:45 in the morning of October 16, 2011.
Supt. Luna, identified the victim as; Placido Boy y Leonora, 50 yrs old, married, Technician and a res of Blk 5 Lot 4 Phase 2 Sunshine Homes Brgy F De Castro, Cavite was held up by the two suspects on board a Suzuki MOLA MC colored black, for registration plate and took and carted away the victim one (1) unit Nokia Cellphone and cash money amounting to more or less Php1,500 and fled towards to unknown direction.
Police Supt. Leonard Luna-Chief Of Police (COP) after knowing the said incident, immediately  instructed to the follow up team and motor cops of Binan City Police Station (CPS) led by SPO2 Melchor Tolentino to conduct follow up operation for the possible identification and arrest of the suspects.
On or about 3:30 am of October 16, 2011 at Manabat St., Brgy San Antonio, Binan City while victim number two Rhealyn Guab y Funelas, 25 yrs old, Production and a res of Sitio Pulo, Brgy Dela Paz, Binan City  was on his way on board of a passenger jitney coming from Sta Rosa City and when said jitney was stopped , suspect # 2 pretended to be a passenger suddenly grabbed the lady shoulder bag colored green and immediately disembarked at the jitney and boarded to a Suzuki MOLA MC colored black with for registration plate driven by the suspect # 2 with one facially known companion/passenger.
Victim shouted for help prompting to get attention from the public and to the responding police personnel while on their routine patrol. At this juncture, police officer spotted the armed suspects and a brief chased was ensued.  During the course of hot pursuit, suspect # 2 drew his gun and fired towards the responding police officers until they were cornered at St Rose II Brgy Casile, Binan City.
Both suspects shoot the incoming police personnel but managed to retaliate hitting the two suspects on the different parts of the body causing their instantaneous death but the suspect # 2 was able to run away.  During the joint investigation of Binan CPS and SOCO team disclosed that recovered evidence from the crime scene were two (2) caliber 38 revolver both smith and Wesson with SN 3 515513 with marking 357 silver and the other gun without SN, seven (7) empty shells of caliber 45, five deformed slug of the same caliber, suspect get away motorized tricycle and colored green lady shoulder bag containing identifications and wallet of the victim # 2.
Further investigation revealed that the slain armed robbery suspects were the same culprits after positively identified by the victim # 1. Cadaver of the suspects was brought to Ascension Funeral Homes for autopsy. Follow up investigation was still conducted by the elements of Binan CPS for the arrest of the other suspect.  Suspect # 1 (decease) identified as one (1) Ronnei Elardo y Alicbusa, a res of 1377 Ilaya, Brgy Malaban, Binan City, while suspect # 2 Facially known person (deceased) and three (3) Facially known person (at large). Disposition of case is under investigation by officer on case. (Arlene P. Mariposque)
