Calamba, City - In a report to PSSUPT GILBERTO DC CRUZ, Laguna Police Director, by PSUPT NESTOR B DELA CUEVA, COP, Calamba CPS at about 7:00 PM, March 1, 2011 at Sitio Bule, Brgy, Batino, Calamba City, Laguna, victim identified as ROGER BERNARTE y BARQUILLA, 59 years old, separated, farmer and a resident of Sitio Bule, Bukid, Brgy, Batino, Calamba City, Laguna and suspect identified as CLARO QUINDOZA y ESCANO aka CALING, 47 years old, married and a resident of Sitio Bule, Bukid, Brgy Batino, Calamba City, Laguna were having a conversation regarding water supply on their garden when they had a heated argument. At this juncture, suspect drew a fan knife and suddenly stabbed the victim thereby inflicting serious body injuries causing the latter’s instantaneous death while the suspect fled after the incident. SOCO Team from PRO4A Crime Laboratory together with the local investigator conducted Crime Scene Investigation. Cadaver of the victim was moved to Green Lawn Funeral Homes, Calamba City, Laguna for autopsy examination.--Submitted by A.P. Mariposque
